Hi! Summer has been off to a great start! The weather has been gorgeous the last few days. Keely, from Yoga Joint South, just taught a beautiful yoga class on the beach to celebrate International Yoga Day! After class, we enjoyed healthy smoothies from Chef Phil and a few of us went to the Promenade Bar for some celebratory wine. It is so nice to see our members get to know each other and make plans to get together again at the club.

That same day was actually National Lilly Pulitzer Day, too, so Amber went all out! We will show you just how cute she looked!

Some more exciting news to report is that the renovation of our beach tennis courts is complete and what a gorgeous bright blue they are! Dani was the first to hit on them. Demi was not thrilled about that but she was busy because she had just won a huge state tournament in Orlando. It is pretty cool to think we have the Champion of the State of Florida training here at Lago Mar with her coach, who was on the WTA Tour until 3 years ago and was 37th in the world and then, of course, we have our future superstar, Dani Snyder! Every day during the week there is a lot of energy and excitement on the tennis courts.

Lastly, If you have been over to the resort in the past week you will notice that we are completely redoing all of the landscaping around the Porte Cochere…over 100 flowers and trees are currently in the process of being planted. We are also installing some beautiful coral stone on the facade of the building and around the fountain. I am personally looking forward to our new expansive lighting that will enhance our “Sense of Arrival” even more during the evening hours. We are constantly thinking about how we can improve our property to surprise and please our guests and members when they visit!
