Hi! I am excited to announce that I have been invited and recently elected to the Bonnet House Board of Directors! The Bonnet House has always had a special place in my heart. My brother, Lee, and I were very active in The Bonnet House Junior Alliance many years ago and now I have the opportunity to circle back and directly help support the mission again.

“Celebrating the story of Frederic and Evelyn Bartlett, we preserve the art, history and nature of Bonnet House, providing inspiration and respite for all” is the Bonnet House Mission Statement and “A sustainable tropical sanctuary that preserves its legacy of art and nature while inspiring minds and spirits.” is the Vision Statement.

As a Native of Fort Lauderdale, I am really looking forward to honoring this very special piece of history. I love that we have a place that is described as a “tropical oasis where one can experience what Fort Lauderdale was like over 100 years ago!” As I learn more and more I will be sure to share with you.
