Hi! I am so sorry that I have not posted a blog recently but a little over 2 weeks ago I slipped on a wet marble floor that had sunscreen on it and landed right on my elbow! I knew it was broken right away and, of course, at the Emergency Room, they confirmed that not only was it broken but I would need surgery.

Summer is the worst time to break a bone because so many doctors are on family vacations. Long story short…I had surgery 10 days ago and just got my cast off.

Although I am still not allowed to swim, I do enjoy sitting under our tiki hut by the Ocean Grill, watching my boys play basketball, while inhaling the salt air, which is so good for every one of us.

While I have been healing I have taken advantage of our wonderful facials in our spa. I think I have tried almost every one that is appropriate for my skin. Of course, I started with the Luminous “C” and “Sea”. I love the way the vitamin C brightens and the mineral seaweed strengthens my skin’s elasticity. The Caviar Facial is just so Glam (and I needed some Glamming). Treating myself to this opulent, anti-aging treatment, which lavished my skin with pure Caviar and a revolutionary blend of phyto-extracts, was exactly what the doctor ordered. The hard lift-off mask adds to the experience and results in ultimate rejuvenation. Love it!

One of our facials that I don’t believe I have tried, until now, is the Soothing Plantomer Facial. My skin can tend to look irritated, so this really worked to calm the redness. The propolis ampoule helped to soothe and rehydrate my skin within minutes. This week I am going to try the YouthRenew Hydra-Glow Peel. I will post my next blog about this. I am not sure how my arm will look after I get the stitches out but I do know that my face has never looked better.
