Hi! As I was driving over the 17th Street Causeway Bridge this past weekend I was overcome with gratitude for the incredible location of our beloved Lago Mar. Lately, with the arrival of the Disney Cruise Ship and Brightline Train service, we are even more grateful to be situated on ten acres of land with 500 feet of private beach in the beautiful neighborhood of Harbor Beach. Not many resorts are located only 10 to 15 minutes away from an international airport and minutes away from a seaport.

Recently, with the Disney Cruise in service, we have been having the pleasure of hosting many families pre- and post-cruise. They are easy to spot because they are all decked out with Mickey Mouse Ears and  Disney outfits! For those who are not ready to take a full Disney Cruise, the new Brightline service to Orlando is awesome. Our resort guests can stay with us for a few days and then take the Brightline to Orlando. Actually, they might want to do Disney first and then come to us for some much-needed relaxation! Also, for those who want to include a shopping trip to Palm Beach or a dinner out in Miami but want to stay with us, they can drive about 10 minutes to the Brightline and travel to either Miami or Palm Beach literally within minutes.

I personally love living nestled between two more great cities. I think the kids and I are going to check out the Brightline to Orlando soon. I will let you know how it goes!
