Hi! I am so excited that Halloween is right around the corner but I can’t forget to mention that the annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is in full swing as I write this blog! To honor these two annual events, Jane has used her creative talents to decorate our fireplace and front desk in our Main Lobby, creating a Festive Fall Sense of Arrival. To add to the fun, on Halloween Eve, Chef Grant will carve his pumpkins into creative pieces of art. I always love to see what he comes up with each year.
I love taking the kids by in their costumes to see the staff that they have grown up with since so many of our staff have been part of the Lago Mar Family for over twenty years. This year I will only have the boys as Dani is a freshman at Georgetown and Demi is an Investment Banker in New York.
It wouldn’t be Halloween for me if I didn’t stop by The Promenade Bar to sip on a Devil’s Margarita with some of our resort guests and club members. Some of our members even dress up for the fun holiday as they love celebrating at the Promenade Bar. For our resort guests who have small kids, they love trick or treating in the neighborhood in which our Resort is located, which also happens to be my neighborhood. So many of my neighbors really go all out with decorations and lots of candy. Hope to see many of you over the next week.
