Hi! I am thrilled to announce that we were recently recognized as one of the Founding Families in Fort Lauderdale! The Historic Stranahan House Museum celebrated its 1st Annual Founding Families Fall Festival and chose us as one of the honorees.
For those of you who are not familiar with the Stranahan House, it is the home of Fort Lauderdale pioneers Frank and Ivy Stranahan. It was built in 1901 as a trading post and converted into a residence for the Stranahans in 1906. The house is actually the oldest surviving structure in Broward County and is currently open for tours and special events. If you haven’t been you should definitely make plans to spend the afternoon exploring this extraordinary piece of Fort Lauderdale’s past.
I hope you enjoy this blog as well as the picture of me and our wonderful General Manager, Jim Pancallo! Happy Fall!
Deb
