Hi! What a fantastic Thanksgiving Week we had at the resort! The weather was great and my Family Activities were enjoyed by so many of our resort guests and members. We had Face Painting, Glitter Tattoos, Balloon Twisters, a Photo Booth, and Yoga on the Beach!
Of course, Chef Grant planned and served a beautiful, scrumptious buffet to over 400 of our resort guests and members. Saturday evening, after my face-painting event ended, I walked down the beach with some of our members to watch seven cruise ships depart. The moon was almost full as it was actually a full moon last night.
The view of the ships all lit up with the full moon lighting up the ocean and literally making it shimmer was breathtaking! When I looked back to the resort I could so many of our guests sitting on their balconies taking in the sights of the massive ships that call Port Everglades their home. What is super exciting is that the Disney Cruise is now leaving out of Fort Lauderdale!
I am so grateful to live in such a fabulous city where we have an airport close by, a seaport in my backyard, and so many other great attributes. Now it is time to get ready for Christmas!
