Hi! I hope everyone is doing well and I wanted to give a quick update on my great experience at my first Tortuga Festival. Two of my girlfriends and I escorted our three teenage daughters to the 2021 Tortuga Music Festival this past weekend and all of us had an amazing time. It is rare that women in their 50s would enjoy the same concert as teenage girls, but we absolutely did!

We did invest in VIP tickets for the adults, which made it even more fun, but even the time we spent in General Admission was fun, too. Other than a slight drizzle for about five minutes, the weather was perfect.

All dressed up in our country-western garb, we sipped on complimentary cocktails (in VIP) and danced along with Vanilla Ice, Pitbull, Tim McGraw, and many more famous singers. The ocean was calm and lots of people actually wore bathing suits so they could cool off during the daytime shows. I really have to say that the festival was very well organized, and we felt safe and comfortable the entire time.

If I wasn’t at the festival I was at Lago Mar and our guests who traveled near and far to be part of such a memorable event were definitely having a blast! What is super cool about this particular concert is that a portion of every pass goes to Rock the Ocean Foundation and to help save our world’s oceans. I am so grateful that we have so many events so close to our resort.

We are already looking forward to Tortuga returning next April 8 – 10, 2022, passes go one sale December 3.
