Hi! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday. This Fourth of July weekend at Lago Mar was truly one to remember! The resort was filled with energy, happy families, and that special holiday spirit that makes summer by the beach so unforgettable.
We were pleasantly packed all weekend, with guests enjoying our private beach, a welcome ocean breeze and live entertainment on the Lagoon Island, not to mention maybe a cocktail or two. The abundant sunshine certainly did not disappoint either, creating the perfect backdrop for a festive holiday weekend by the water.
As evening arrived, the dining room and patio were filled with members and guests enjoying Chef Grant’s delicious Fourth of July buffet. As we do every year, the kids and I dressed in our patriotic colors and feasted on our favorites, such as the beef brisket and the sweet potato mash. I even indulged myself in Chef’s decadent smoked gouda macaroni and cheese! So amazing.
We ended the night watching the fireworks show from the beach, closing the perfect celebration of America’s 250th birthday. Go America!
