lago mar christmas decorations 2019 November 16, 2020 3:10 pm

Hi! After a tough year for all, we are ready and determined to celebrate our blessings this Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. Our Lago Mar Family is so grateful for all of our resort guests and members. We are really looking forward to gathering together, maybe in a different way (social distancing), than we have in the past, but still spending quality time with our families and friends at our beloved Lago Mar.

I know I have mentioned this in other blogs, but I want to reassure everyone that we are very dialed-in with the CDC guidelines, including facial coverings for all of our staff, hand sanitizer placed throughout the resort, iWave-C technology in most public spaces and QR codes for menus in our F&B outlets, among other protocols. We are so grateful to be able to offer 10 acres of pristine land to our resort guests and members with many options for outdoor dining, relaxing, and socializing in a resort and private club setting.

I have already blogged about our Thanksgiving Feast so now I will give you a glimpse of our Christmas 3-Course-Menu. For starters, Chef Grant is offering Sweet Corn & Crab Chowder, Berry Beet Salad, or a Roasted Apple Salad. The entrees sound amazing; Carved Slow Roasted Whole Strip Loin, Applewood Smoked Ham, Pan Seared Halibut, and, of course, a traditional Roasted Turkey Dinner. We had a tasting the other day and although I am not a huge ham fan, the Applewood Ham with the brandied cherry sauce, egg nog sweet potato mash, and vegetable medley was incredible!

The kids and I are counting down the days until our fun days at the beach with our friends from all over the US to celebrate the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday and ring in 2021!
