Hi! I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July! We had an amazing time at the resort. Although it was hot, there was a nice ocean breeze and an abundance of sunshine throughout the long weekend.

I really loved watching my three youngest kids working so hard most of the holiday. Dani was fun to watch serving cocktails by the pool and on the beach with her festive bow in her hair.  She was definitely a big hit with our adult guests as well as our younger guests who ordered their virgin frozen drinks and ice waters.

The boys were a great duo behind the towel hut and all three joined forces with a couple of our other staff members to “close” the beach after the fireworks. This is a big undertaking as it entails loading all of the chairs and umbrellas on the Gator and driving to where they unload them and lock them up for the evening. This is especially important and required to protect the turtles during Turtle Season.

Of course, Chef Grant outdid himself again this year with his Fourth of July Buffet!  I hope you enjoy the cute pictures I have included with my blog! Happy Summer, Deb
