Hi! I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. I spent the holiday at a national tennis tournament with Demi and she made it all the way to the finals! It was so cute that my dad came to watch her play 6 matches, 5 of which she won. I did hear that our guests and members had a nice weekend at the resort. The weather was pretty nice so most were enjoying the pools and beach, not to mention the Promenade Bar, and then, when there was rain, the lounge became a popular spot. I wonder if anyone noticed our brand new, 50 inch flat screen television that was installed last week.
Several of our guests also took advantage of our September Special in our spa. Basically, if a guest purchased a 50 minute Swedish Massage for $125.00 they received a 25 minute Silky Skin Scrub for free. The scrub is a creamy body polish with jojoba seeds, which exfoliates dry skin and polishes away toxins. This aromatic and gentle treatment leaves your skin feeling silky-soft and wonderfully hydrate. I think after 3 days of sitting at a park watching tennis I definitely am in need of this! By the way, this runs through the whole month of September. Another promotion we have in the spa includes a complimentary 25 minute Hot Oil Scalp Massage with the purchase of a Customized Classic Facial. Whenever I have a scalp massage I visualize my hair growing in healthier because the massage helps with circulation.
We are getting ready to print our new spa brochures with some exciting new treatments. One of our new treatments includes L.E.D Light Therapy, great for anti-aging and healing. It also minimizes the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and crows feet and restores skin’s natural collagen production. I have had two facials with this enhancement and can see a difference in the way my skin looks and feels. One of the other benefits of this new therapy is that it clears blemishes and minimizes pores. Demi has noticed a big difference in her teenage skin after Shane performed a facial using this light. By the way, Shane is amazing! We are introducing her in our fall newsletter coming out soon.
Chef Phil also has his Thanksgiving menu ready to go! We are so excited that the holidays are around the corner. Next blog I will have more details about upcoming holiday plans.
