Hi! I am super excited to announce that we were selected to be on the Fort Lauderdale Edition of Monopoly! Monday evening was much anticipated as The Big Reveal took place on Las Olas with a huge cake featuring our city’s Monopoly Game, drinks, as well as a visit from Mr. Monopoly himself.
In addition to Lago Mar, the Four Seasons, and the Riverside were chosen to be on the board for the hotel category.
I remember playing Monopoly for hours as a child and I would have been so surprised if someone would have told me back then that we would be one of the Yellow Squares! We will soon have boards for purchase in the Soda Shop ($40 per).
On a separate note, I wanted to remind all of our Resort Guests and Club Members to make your reservations for Christmas Dinner and New Year’s Eve! Chef has a beautiful buffet planned for Christmas featuring Red Snapper Filets with Orange Fennel Sauce, a traditional Ham and Turkey item, as well as a Prime Rib Carving Station. New Year’s Eve is a favorite for me and the kids. I can hardly wait for the Stuffed Airline Chicken Breast, while the boys will devour the Twin Pan Seared Lobster Tail. Demi and Dani love the Sea Scallops and I am sure Dani’s boyfriend will order the Grilled 8 oz Center Cut Filet and clean his plate. I love this time of year!
Lastly, I hope all of our Resort Guests and Members enjoy our new pickleball courts and the many other improvements we have made throughout the year.
