Hi! I just wanted to check in and let you know we are in the process of creating a basketball court on the beach! If everything goes on schedule, it should be “ready to go” next Friday, which just so happens to be St. Patty’s Day. Putting a basketball hoop on the beach was the idea of Fourth Generation, Chipper and Sailor, even though we all agree it is going to be a big hit with both kids and adults. For those of you who seek peace and tranquility, don’t worry, we put a lot of thought into where we would install the court so that our Sports Enthusiasts could enjoy a good game of basketball while you would not be bothered by all of the action. We hope that our members and guests will enjoy our new addition next Friday as well as all of our St. Patty’s Day Festivities.

Chef Phil has an awesome menu planned and there will be lots of decorations for those who want to celebrate the Irish Holiday. The Promenade Bar and The Wine Cellar Lounge will also be serving Guinness Beer for the occasion. Of course, Chris, Chipper and Sailor are counting the days to shoot some hoops here at their second home while the girls and I are looking forward to Chef’s delicious menu! I can’t wait for the Irish Stuffed Chicken with Dubliner Irish Cheese, Spinach, and Green Quinoa Risotto. Demi is looking forward to the Walnut Crusted Salmon with Guinness Grainy Mustard Sauce and Spinach Cauliflower Risotto. Dani wants the Lamb and Sweet Potato Shepherd’s Pie. We are all so excited!
