Hi! I hope everyone is having a fantastic summer! We sure are here at the resort!

Chipper and Sailor, Fourth Generation Owners, are still having a blast running the Ocean Grille during the week, and Dani loved serving cocktails around the pools during the Fourth of July weekend. Since her summer internship is over, she might be seen serving cocktails again before she goes back to Georgetown.

I personally love this time of year in Fort Lauderdale, when the ocean is so warm and our town is not quite as busy as it is in the winter months.

Although this summer’s travels were brief for me and the kids, the memories we made and the time we shared was so special. We travelled to Marbella, Spain, and then to Marrakech, Morocco. We definitely enjoyed our time in Marbella, but I have to share that since the ocean temperature was 73 degrees Fahrenheit, we barely swam. (I don’t swim unless it is at least 83 degrees.) Experiencing new beach destinations is always a good time but also confirms that we truly live in paradise. Morocco, on the other hand, was a completely new experience for us. Our experience riding camels through the Agafay Desert was truly unforgettable.

Traveling to new places is always thrilling but there is no place like home sweet home.
