Hi! This is such an exciting time of the year at the resort. The Boat Show is currently in town so there is so much energy with all of the hustle and bustle that accompanies The Show. Also, Halloween is right around the corner with super cool pumpkins carved by Chef Grant and his team. Each year it’s fun to see their creativity in the designs for the various Jack- o’ -Lanterns placed throughout the property. Last year, I especially loved the cherries for eyes on the pumpkin in the Promenade Bar. Before we know it, Thanksgiving will be here and Chef will be serving his delicious Thanksgiving Dinner.

This annual feast is always enjoyed by so many of our resort guests as well as many of our club members. Some of the highlights on the Buffet are as follows: Holiday Turkey Breast with Gravy, Holiday Turkey Thighs and Drums, Cornbread Stuffing with Apricot and Cranberry, Yukon Mash Potatoes, Oven Roasted Salmon with Lemon Dill Cream Sauce and Vegetable Garganelli with Roasted Sweet Pepper Tomato Sauce. For all of our meat lovers, we have a carving station offering Slow Roasted Carved New York Strip Loin and, of course, there will be a beautiful display of sumptuous salads and goodies such as Peel and Eat Shrimp.

I am really looking forward to the tasting meeting we will have at the end of next week. Sometimes I just hate my job!

Lastly, I am thrilled to announce that we will able to host some family activities this year since Covid is under control. Please stay tuned as I will share more details in my next blog.
