Hi! I can’t believe the holidays are right around the corner. I hope you enjoyed my blog post about our Thanksgiving plans at the resort. Gobble Gobble!
As soon as Chef Grant finished his wonderful Thanksgiving menu, he started on his three-course Christmas Menu and I am super excited to share some of the highlights. The Hearty Winter Vegetable Soup with white bean farro sounds delicious. To keep with tradition, we always offer our Roasted Turkey Dinner with gravy, cornbread stuffing, white cheddar yukon mashed potatoes, vegetable medley, and an amazing orange cranberry sauce. For those who prefer a good steak, Chef will be presenting a Carved Slow Roasted Whole Strip Loin with Marsala mushroom sauce, and, for those of us who try to eat light, we have the choice of a Pan-Roasted Grouper with lobster orange fennel sauce, roasted butternut squash risotto and vegetable medley.
Now that his Christmas menu has come to fruition, Chef Grant will be busy designing a dazzling New Year’s Eve Dinner for all of our guests and members! Can’t wait until our “tasting” meeting. Sometimes I just hate my job.
Also, I am going to visit The Resort Shop soon and scope out some great Christmas/Hanukkah gift ideas. I will let you know what I find. I am vowing that this year I am going to get all of my shopping done in advance so I can enjoy the many holiday parties that are popping this holiday season. Yay!
