Hi! Hot off the press: Chef Grant just announced his 2021 Thanksgiving menu for our 61st Annual Thanksgiving Feast! Today, we had the opportunity to taste his Pumpkin Soup, which was so delicious. Tomorrow we will try the Kale & Pear Salad and the Fall House Salad and then next week we will move on to the Entrees.
For the past 61 years, we have offered the Roasted Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner and it is always the most popular. Even though I personally must stick with tradition, we will have a lot of our guests order the Slow Roasted Salt & Herb Crusted Prime Rib with Black Garlic Au-Jus, Sour Cream & White Cheddar Mashed Potato and Baby Carrots, Asparagus, & Sweet Peppers. We have featured this item in the past and it was always a big hit.
For those who love fish, Chef Grant and his team will be preparing a beautiful Pecan Crusted Local Snapper with a Creamy Sweet Potato Risotto, Orange Fennel Beurre Blanc and vegetables.
For me, Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday because it is about sharing a meal with family and friends without all of the stress of buying gifts. Each year at our table we go around and ask each person what they are grateful for the past year. Without fail, most of us say Lago Mar.
Lastly, I want to thank so many of you for spending your cherished holidays with us. We are extremely grateful!
