Hi! We are so excited that the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will be taking place this year, October 27 – 31, 2021. I know that so many of us boating enthusiasts are ready to enjoy this amazing event. I particularly love that there is a boat for absolutely everyone’s desires and, even if you are not interested in purchasing a boat, there are still amazing culinary booths and daytime drinking options to enjoy. This show brings so much energy to our town as people from all over the world come to savor the largest in-water presence of boats and marine exhibits this country has known.

As I mentioned, the upscale and innovative culinary experience is always second to none. Some of the highlights of this year’s selections are the following: Greek gyros, wood-fired picanha, authentic street tacos, handcrafted burgers, stone crab claws, calamari, oysters, and much more! There are many vegan and vegetarian options too.

For those who want to sip on an alcoholic beverage while listening to live music amongst megayachts, there is a plethora of specialty cocktails, premium wines, and a full line of craft beer. Live entertainment can be found throughout the show area at Bahia Mar, and yachts, which most of us can only dream about, decorate many of the docks. Tickets to this “Greatest Boat Show on the Seven Seas” must be purchased in advance.

Coinciding with the Boat Show this year is Halloween! If you are a resort guest or club member, we hope you will stop by the Promenade Bar to try a Devil’s Margarita, which will be on special Saturday and Sunday. Chef Grant and his team are also planning some super cool designs for the pumpkins they are carving for the holiday.

I am already feeling festive and have my Halloween Headband ready to go!
