Hi! I just returned from Georgetown after moving three of my four children back to campus, and I have to admit, coming home this time has been difficult.
Watching three members of the Fourth Generation of our family settle into Georgetown, happy, excited and ready for the year ahead, fills me with so much pride. As a mom, there is truly nothing better than seeing your children exactly where they are meant to be. But yes, I’m sad too. I told someone recently that it feels a little like I came home with three chunks of my heart missing.
Thankfully, there is never much time to feel too sorry for myself once I’m back at Lago Mar! We have some very exciting updates happening at the resort over the next month, and I can hardly wait to share them with you. There is always something new taking shape behind the scenes, while still holding on to the traditions and special touches that have made Lago Mar feel like home to generations of families from many countries. Stay tuned as I unveil our updates as they come to fruition.
