Hi! There’s something new blooming at Lago Mar! Our Hibiscus Court has become even more beautiful with the addition of a lovely new orchid garden, accented with colorful bromeliads and lush tropical plantings. It’s a peaceful corner of the resort where we hope our guests will take a moment to enjoy. Stop by for lunch in The Soda Shop, treat yourself to an ice cream, and then wander through the Hibiscus Court to take in the orchids, bromeliads and all of the beautiful greenery surrounding the space.
Of course, none of this would be quite the same without our very own “Plant Manager,” my mom. We’ve affectionately called her that for years because she has always had a special eye for the flowers and landscaping around Lago Mar. She takes great pride in helping make the resort’s gardens feel welcoming, colorful and cared for, and this newest addition is especially close to her heart.
We’ve also added two beautiful new benches on the veranda just outside the Resort Shop— the perfect place to sit for a few minutes, enjoy the surroundings and perhaps do a little shopping while you’re there.
