Hi! The kids and I are so excited that it is almost Christmas! With the resort looking so festive, it is easy to get in the holiday spirit at Lago Mar!
Chef Grant has once again prepared a lavish Christmas Dinner Buffet which is sure to impress all our Members and Resort Guests. Some highlights from his feast include a Carving Station with Slow Roasted Carved Prime Rib with Au Jus, Holiday Turkey Breast with Gravy, an Applewood Smoked Ham with Brandied Cherry Sauce, Red Snapper Filets with Orange Fennel Sauce and Eggnog, and Vanilla Sweet Mashed Potatoes (my favorite food ever).
Beginning on the 26th, members of the Fourth Generation are all thrilled to help out with the Family Activity Programs, which I mentioned in my last blog. In my next blog, I will post some of the highlights of our New Year’s Eve Dinner Menu. My family actually spent last New Year’s Eve dining in Acquario and then ringing in the New Year with a great group of members and resort guests in our Wine Cellar Lounge. Leslie Butler, our piano player, turned into a DJ, playing amazing music that we all had a lot of fun dancing the night away with our party hats on and plenty of champagne.
