Hi! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday season! The resort, looking perfectly festive this year, was super busy with so many nice families and couples.
One family that I met is actually the Fifth Generation to Lago Mar! It was so fun to reminisce with them about how the resort used to be years ago and how we have evolved. They complimented us not only on our transformations but also on the way we still manage to keep a certain charm that attracts people from all over the world to visit us year after year.
It was also really nice to welcome back our Family Activities! I had to put them on hold for two years due to Covid. Some of the highlights were face painting, balloon twisting, airbrush tattoos for the kids, a photo booth, bingo for kids, and yoga classes.
Chef Grant outdid himself with his Christmas Dinner, and his New Year’s Eve Buffet Extravaganza was a huge hit! Our resort guests and members are still raving about the Lollipop Lamb Chops, Stuffed Airline Chicken Breast, and Pan-Seared Lobster Tail, to name a few. Our most popular item of the evening was the Grilled 8oz Filet, which melts your mouth, and was described as “divine” by many.
Although it was sad this week to watch all the Christmas Decorations come down, I decided to walk outside and was instantly greeted by an abundance of sunshine. I am so grateful for the success we enjoyed in 2022. We appreciate each and every one of our guests, members, and staff and we are looking forward to a fantastic 2023!
