Hi! I am so excited to share that March 5 is National Employee Appreciation Day. I speak for my whole family when I say how much we appreciate our staff!

We are extremely grateful for the longevity of so many of our employees.

Fran and Patty in the Soda Shop have been part of the Lago Mar family for over 20 years.

Lucy and Carl have been vital to our Housekeeping Department for over 30 years. They were already part of the Lago Mar Family when I graduated from University of Florida and started working at the resort!

Erich, who is our celebrity Front Desk Manager, has been working with us for 25 years.

Our Night Front Desk Manager, Beverly, has been at Lago Mar since 1998.

Amber, who is the Manager of The Resort Shop and phenomenal running the shop’s social media, is celebrating her 20th anniversary with us. It is hard to believe because she looks like she is only 20 years old!

For over 25 years, Julien has been tending to our plants and landscaping.

Jumelia, whose nickname is Shorty, has been part of our Lago Mar Family for 28 years.

These are just a few members of our devoted staff. I could go on and on! The hotel business is unique in the fact that we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is definitely not for everyone but I can honestly say that our staff are always smiling and eager to help our resort guests and club members have the best possible experience. Their effort is noticed in our great reviews we receive on a daily basis.

We have been in business for 60 years and it would not be possible without our amazing staff. Happy National Employee Appreciation Day!
