Hi! I am so excited to share some highlights from Chef Grant’s Fourth of July Lago Mar Beach Buffet Extravaganza! The Slow-Cooked, Mesquite Seasoned Pork BBQ Ribs with a Root Beer BBQ Sauce are the boys’ favorite and “out of this world”. I absolutely love the Cornmeal Crusted Redfish and Dani loves the Jumbo Shrimp Boil! This is the one day of the year I cannot pass up Chef’s Baked Mac & Cheese. His Collard Greens with Apple Chicken Sausage, Sweet Peppers, and Onions are a healthy hit with all of us. The Burger, Hotdog & Sausage Station is always popular with so many of our younger resort guests and members. Of course, Chef offers an array of Salads and Fruits and then there is always the Corn Bread, Country Rolls, and Biscuits – so divine!
This year, the city’s fireworks show will begin earlier at 8:45 pm, which is great for the little ones. For those of our members and resort guests who want to grab a quick dinner, the Ocean Grill will have extended hours.
The kids and I are so excited to spend all three days at our favorite place on earth. I haven’t told them yet that it will be “all hands on deck” since we will definitely be busy.
The oldest of the Fourth Generation, who is interning in Investment Banking with Morgan Stanley, is even flying in from New York to celebrate the holiday with the family at our beloved resort. She said it wouldn’t feel like the 4th if she wasn’t at Lago Mar.
