Hi! I hope everyone had a healthy, fun Fourth of July. We had a great holiday weekend here at Lago Mar. We purposely kept the occupancy down so that our resort guests and members could enjoy plenty of personal space, and we continued to operate as a “Members Only” Club.

Upon checking in, each resort guest had their temperature taken and received a red wrist band to help ensure that everyone on property was either a resort guest or a club member. Patrick, our Director of Housekeeping, kept busy spraying the public areas as well as the rooms. All of our staff are always wear a face covering.

My second daughter and a friend actually assisted the Beach Staff with their sanitation effort. The girls worked very hard and were diligent about cleaning everything they possibly could find. They cleaned lounges and all of the entryway gates to the swimming lagoon. When kids played foosball or someone finished in a hammock, they were right there to sanitize for the next person. They even cleaned the shower pulls and knobs on the outdoor showers. They received several compliments and thank you’s while they were on duty.

Another one of our staff that received many compliments was Chef Grant with his presentation of an amazing festive, delicious dinner! As our guests and members were entering Acquario they were greeted by our General Manager and escorted to their table by our Food & Beverage Director. The dining room was operating at 50% capacity and the tables were perfectly spaced apart. Everyone who joined us for dinner was very gracious and cooperative about wearing their face covering when getting up from the table.

Our goal is to comply with the orders in our area for the safety of everyone while still offering our guests a nice relaxing time. Thank you to those who are so loyal and continue to support us. We appreciate you!
