Hi! I hope those of you who have kids in school have had an easy transition “Back to School”. Ours went pretty well, just really busy. On the plus side, because things have slowed down a tiny bit at the resort, we are using this time to focus on some fun events with our Lago Mar Family.

Last week we had our Lago Mar Five Star Service Reception to honor our Crystal Star Recipients. In order to receive a Crystal Star, a staff member must accumulate a certain amount of points. They receive the points by being mentioned in our guest comment cards or they can have a letter of recommendation from their manager. Some of our newest Crystal Star Recipients are Gerry and Shayon at the Front Desk, Diana at the Ocean Grill, and Joan Miller-Roux in the Palm Garden Room. We are so proud of them and showed our appreciation by giving each of them a gift card and, of course, the party, with beautiful cupcakes and music led by our in-house DJ, Michael Wells. Congratulations to all of our new Crystal Star Recipients!
