Hi! Spring is in the Air! I am so excited that Easter is right around the corner. I just took a peek at Chef Grant’s Easter Menu and I love the way he used lots of lavender, yellow, and blue in the design. This year’s Buffet Extravaganza is looking really delicious, too. Some of the highlights are Sliced Leg of Lamb, Applewood Ham with spiced apricot mustard sauce, Oven Roasted Salmon Filets, and Garganelli Pasta with vodka sauce, and roasted vegetables. There will also be a Carving Station, serving slow-roasted whole New York Strip Loin with a Demi Glacé Sauce.
For our younger guests, there will be a Kid’s Corner featuring Chicken Fingers, Fries, and Macaroni & Cheese. YUM! Everyone needs to make sure to save room for the Assorted Dessert Station, which is always a huge hit with all our resort guests and members.
There will also be a surprise visit from Peter Cottontail himself! He told us that he will hopping around the dining room and playground area from a little after 9:00 until approximately 10:30 am. We welcome our resort guests and members to join in the fun. As is a tradition for the last 62 years, except for during the height of the pandemic, The Hunt will start promptly at 11:00 am and most likely end a few minutes later.
I love Easter so much because my oldest Demi was born on Good Friday and came home on Easter Sunday! The Easter Bunny was really good to me that year.
