Hi! I am so excited that Mother’s Day is right around the corner. It is one of my favorite holidays! Personally, I think that with all that we mothers do for so many, we should have Mother’s Month!
Since I missed this special day last year, due to Chipper and I having Covid, I am really looking forward to celebrating this year. I am not sure exactly what I will be doing because the kids always surprise me.
For those of our resort guests and members who will be dining with us, Chef Grant has a beautiful buffet planned for our moms and their families. In addition, we’ll be handing out roses to all of the mothers in attendance for this delicious holiday buffet. Some Entree Highlights are as follows: Snapper with Lobster Cream Sauce, Oven Roasted Airline Chicken Breast with a White Wine Beurre Blanc Sauce, and a Grilled Pork Loin with a Roasted Garlic Gravy. The Carving Station, featuring a Slow Roasted Herb Seasoned Striploin with Port Wine & Boursin Cheese Demi Glacé, is always a big hit, too. There is even a Charcuterie Display and delicious salads to choose from and a Kid’s Corner for the Little Ones. Even though most of us moms are always watching our diet this should be one of the days we splurge and try one or two of Chef’s tasty desserts. We deserve it!
