Hi! I hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day Weekend. We sure did at the resort. The weather was super sunny and the ocean was perfect! We are already having a warm summer but with the ocean breezes and the ability to jump in the ocean or pool our Resort Guests and Members are happy.
As I am writing this blog post, Chef Grant just came into my office to show me this year’s Fourth of July Buffet menu, and I am excited to share some of the highlights with you. Chef will prepare a Hot Buffet consisting of Slow Cooked, Mesquite Seasoned Pork BBQ Ribs with a Root Beer BBQ Sauce, Blackened Redfish with an andouille and baby shrimp sauce, Cornflake Crusted Chicken with Molasses Mustard Sauce, and Baked Mac & Cheese. Of course, he will feature the Burger, Hotdog & Sausage Station, and last but not least, a Salad and Fruit Station. Did I leave out an Assorted Dessert Station?
The kids and I will definitely be on property all day/night working part of the time and then enjoying the fireworks with all our Resort Guests and Club Members. I love this holiday at the resort and I think I have only missed one Fourth of July at Lago Mar in 50 plus years. Hope to see many of our guests and members to celebrate our country!
