Hi! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend. We sure did at Lago Mar.

Chef Grant outdid himself again with his creation of a Thanksgiving Buffet Extravaganza! According to many of our Resort Guests and Club Members, his turkey was absolutely perfect as well his other entrees, sides, and desserts!

Our guests were also so grateful that we were able to once again offer activities for our families. Wednesday we had the petting zoo, which is always a big hit.

The kids had fun getting their faces painted too.

Thursday morning we started our day by practicing yoga on the beach with our favorite yoga teacher, Keely. The weather cooperated to make it an amazing experience for all of our Lago Mar yogis.

Friday evening there was a photo booth set up near the Promenade Bar so kids and adults could have their pictures taken with props and a sequin background. They actually took the photos home as a great way to remember their vacation. Near the photo booth we had two Balloon Artists creating silly hats, swords, and animals.

Last but not least, all seven of the Fourth Generation were giving out glow jewelry, while visiting with all of our younger guests. It was truly a magical few days at Lago Mar.

Demi, the oldest of the Fourth Generation, left today to travel back to Harvard where she will be graduating this May. I am usually super sad but, luckily, she will be back December 11th.

This week I will be writing the Family Program for Christmas so I will post it in my next blog. For our tennis enthusiasts, Demi will surely be playing a lot of tennis over the winter break to get ready for her spring season. She has recently received the honor of being chosen by her teammates as the Captain of the Harvard Women’s Tennis team. Go Demi! Go Crimson!
