Hello, everybody! This is Demi (Debbie’s daughter), writing to you this time about the amazing weekend at Lago Mar I just enjoyed. The fun started on Saturday morning when I convinced my younger sister Dani to play some tennis with me, and she actually played so well after not picking up a racket in years! She’s a natural. After our short hit, we decided to turn a tennis day into a beach day to celebrate the beaches finally opening up last week. The weather was perfect with the sun shining down on the beautiful ocean water. My sister and I spent the whole time in the water taking in the view, watching all of the boats go in and out of the inlet, and ranting to each other about how lucky we are to live in paradise!

Sunday was just as gorgeous of a day, if not more-so. I invited two of my friends that also play Ivy-League tennis over to the resort, where we once again started off the day with an amazing tennis workout. They even convinced me to do sprints…yikes! After that, we were dying to cool off in the water, so we ran down to the beach and jumped right into the crystal-clear water. The weather was absolutely perfect. We spent the rest of the day by the Lagoon pool, listening to Craig Fitch perform and enjoying a delicious lunch of Mahi-Mahi fish tacos and Chicken Quesadillas. Yum!

Just writing this right now is making me excited for what the upcoming weeks and weekends have in store, since the beaches are now completely open for lounging, sitting, and relaxing!
