winterfest luncheon table decor October 18, 2022 2:32 pm

Hi! I am super excited to report that we had the honor of hosting eighteen past Belles of the Winterfest Ball in the Palm Garden Dining Room last Sunday. The Luncheon was absolutely gorgeous and Chef Grant and his team served a beautiful lunch.

I was privileged to sit next to the current Belle, Lisa Duke, who is a very close friend as well as Club Member. I also loved catching up with Ginny Miller, whose business with her husband, Tom, is near and dear to our hearts. Miller Construction actually built and renovated most of our property through the years. Of course, Ina Lee, of TravelHost Magazine, is always so much fun to talk to. I always learn important life lessons from spending time with her. She is a very wise woman and loves to share her wisdom and experiences with others.

All of the Winterfest Activities, including the Winterfest Ball and world-famous Winterfest Boat Parade, would not be possible without Lisa Scott Founds, President & CEO of Winterfest. Lisa works tirelessly throughout the year to ensure that all of the festivities tied to Winterfest are magnificent and run smoothly.

For those of you who are fortunate to know Renee Korbel Quinn, of Spirited South Florida, you will relate to how much fun she is to be around. I have never met anyone who knows more about every type of cocktail that has ever been invented than this past Belle!

I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with all of these amazing ladies and celebrating one of the most magical events in our community! This year’s parade theme is Neon Nightlife Under the Sea. I already bought my dress at Zola’s, on Las Olas!

Hope to see you there,

Deb
